Series 5 turbo II motor in 1st gen...fusible link questions
I just wanted to see if anybody has put a turbo motor in a 1st gen running a Microtech. One issue is the center fusible link keeps smoking/breaking. I reconfigured the wiring so the power supply for the coils is no longer coming from the
stand alone, i was thinking that the coils were maybe too much, but the same problem still persists. Any info/insight is greatly appreciated. :) |
talk to luim7 he is using microtech on fb. The power supply for the coils isnt supposed to come from the microtech. Only the signal wire hooks up to the coils. You should see 12v to the coils when key is in on possition

which microtech are you using? And myexlex is right, your not supposed to use power from the microtech. For the LT10 the 4 cables.. the yellow,yellow/black,orange,orange/black,those are the ones that go to the coils and those are negatives, the positives come from the battery thru a relay then to the coils.
