Pump1 and Pump2
I have recently changed my injectors and the mixture is way too rich due to larger secondaries. I do not have a microtech manual because I did not install it on my car. I was fooling around with these two settings and my car began to run a little better. Can anyone tell me what the functions of these two settings are? Does it have anything to do with the primary and secondary injector settings?

You can find the manual in PDF format on our website (link in the sig). That explains it better than I ever could! :)

Pump1 and Pump2 are basically the same as a accel pump on a carb, they add more fuel durning fast throttle application to make the transition smooth,
pump1 does up to 2000 rpm and pump 2 above 2000rpm, refer to the manual to what the other settings do, they are pretty complex, the standard settings are pretty close to right most mazdas will only need a few % on pump1 and i think mine are 20% on pump2, at the other end of the scale my ski boat requires 35% on pump1 and 50% on pump2 to get smooth take offs. I have personnaly found that 15% p1 and 30% p2 have worked well on my car. I think it has something to do with initial restrictions, IE stock airbox isnt gonna allow much air to pass at once.
