PLX/wideband question

I have an older PLX DM500 and SM-AFR. I am finishing wiring up my LT8s and ran into the fact that LT8s only has an oxygen sensor connection/wire. My question is, what do I connect the wire from the LT8s to on the 4wire O2 sensor that the PLX system uses? Narrowband?

The O2 sensor that is used in the PLX system is a Bosch LSU4.2.

Or do I just leave this wire from the Microtech disconnected?

Any help is appreciated! :icon_tup: :icon_tup: :icon_tup:

I think we got this figured out. Talked to a good friend and he suggested to connect the wideband output from the PLX O2 sensor to the auxiliary input on the LT8s and leave the O2 sensor wire from the LT8s disconnected.

Makes sense to me, plus this should allow for data logging. Anyone want to confirm?

Nope.

Your LT8s can't read that sensor unless you also purchased the wideband logging function.

If your PLX has a simulated narrowband output, it may work connected to the oxygen sensor wire on the Microtech. Maybe.

It won't be any use other than showing the AFR in the tuning software and in datalogs.

The only wiring info that I've found on the PLX sensor simply lists a + 12v, ground, wideband (0-5v), and narrowband (0-1v). Do you suggest connecting the O2 wire or auxiliary input wire from the LT8s to one of those or simple leave them disconnected?
