PLX M-300 Dataloggin?
Hey guys is there anyway this will work? i konw it has a narrowband wire coming out of it. Can i just conect that to the microtech adnnd datalog like that? I tried this but microtech only says 11.0afr adn not chanign at all. Do i need soem resistors or soemthing?
im sure someone knows how to do it right?
anyone? |
You can hook up the plx output to the lt8 input but the further away from 14.7 you get the more off its gonna be.
i tried that i hooked the grey wire from the m-300 to the black/red wire to microtech and all i get ia 11.0afr. it never moves.
is there anyway for it to read acuratly? |
did you hook uyp the simulated plx narrowband output to the microtechs 02 sensor input wire?
yes i did.
well thats all i did on my plx m500 and it worked. Although it isnt acurate anyway so im not sure if it matters to much.

I ordered my M-300 yesterday, so I've been doing some searching on the subject and found this.
Some guy named "Rotarymagic" over at the PLX Forum, I did'nt post the entire thread cause it was hijacket. I have a microtech LT8s and a 1989 mazda rx7 turbo II . i would like to know wher ei can actually tap an electrical signal so i can start to datalog the manifold pressure. hi i am using the microtech lt8s , it expects a 0-1v signal... how can i change so i can datalog with it Here's how. 1) Purchase 1k ohm 1% 1/4 watt resistor 2) Purchase 4k ohm 1% 1/4 watt resistor 3) Connect them in series (back to back where one leg of the 1k is connected to the one leg of the 4k) 4) Connect the unconnected end of the 4k resistor to the wideband output on the M-Series (white wire) 5) Connect the unconnected end of the 1k resistor to your chassis ground 6) In the junction where your 1k and 4k is connected, connect a wire there. Feed that wire into your Microtech input. Your voltage will be mapped as follows. 0V = 10AFR 1V = 20 AFR Between 0-1V will be linearly porportional to the AFR. I hope this helps. |
Yeah thanx a ton on that.

anyone know where i can find a 4K ohm 1/4 watt 1% tolerance resistor? i tried radioshack and no dice.........
^^^
come on someone gotta have an idea of where to find this particular resistor.........
I will be doing this set up next weekend, if you want i can buy some for you. I will doing this set up with a LM1. PM ME if intrested...
If I just ordered an LT12s do I need to do this to get it to work with my techedge wb? Or does it have a 0-5v input stock?
i believe that ecu can accept a wideband signal.
