No Tacho with LTX10s

hey guys I am looking for a bit of help I just recently had a Microtech LTX10s with Coils installed in my 1988 series IV RX7 and now the Tacho wont work I had the Tach signal output from the Computer tested and it is working. we connected that wire up to the Yellow/Blue wire in the engine bay which according to the wiring diagram goes to the tacho and all it does is flicker a little bit then nothing. what else could be wrong with it or what else needs to be connected for the tach to start working.

Cheers

i only connected one wire to get the tach to work. i was running without a tach for a couple of weeks. Maybe you have the wrong side of the tach wire. do you still have the stock harness on the engine?

bad earth in your dash.

or your tacho is fed.

try adding an extention on the factory tach lead at the trailing coil pack(think you have to cut one of the leads off the trailing signal plug) and running it to the test connector at the leading coil pack. that's where I pull my tach signal cause I don't run trailing plugs. stephen.
