No RPM sig and error

Just installed a MT10s into my FD and powered everything up

Other then an incorrectly adjusted TPS, every sensor is reading correctly and is working well, fuel pumps priming correctly etc.

However, it has an error saying RPM. It had this right from when I connected the laptop and connected to the ECU. It also gets no RPM signal when cranking.

I have tripple checked the wireing to the crank sensors, and have checked continuity from plug to plug.

I cant try and start the car as the coils and turbo are not on the car....but is should still get signal at cranking correct?

Am I missing something here?

Please tell me how you have wired up your crank sensors.

Also check to see if you have a crank signal without the laptop connected by looking at the orange light on the ecu.

Check to see if it flashes while cranking.

Problem solved :bigthumb:

Was just bad earthing. Wire brush and contact cleaner to all major earth points and all is well.

It now gets a amber ligh pulse when cranking, doesnt read any RPM but after speaking to microtech, it wont read anything under 500RPM.
It now changes status from cranking to "." which is normal.
It still throws an RPM error after extended cranking - but according to microtech, this is normal as well.
