Need help, no crank signal to coils...
Hello,
I wired up my series 6 LT10 with x4 according to this diagram: http://microtechefi.com/download/LTX10_13B.pdf onto my series 4 t2. I went to start it yesterday and no luck. i noticed that the coils are firing. I have my switch positive to my coils, just not getting a signal. The car was running with the CAS that is in there when i was running my rtek 1.7. The only wire i have connected differently is i dont have the pink ignition on wire hooked up to the coils, but to my switched fuel pump feed. I also find it confusing that i am only using 3 of the 4 wire from the ecu to the CAS and have the White and the White/black wire soldered together into the black wire going back to the ecu. I also found it weird that i dont have Green, Red, Yellow, Blue wires from the ecu. mine are Green, Red, Black and White. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, Izzy |
Can you confirm that you are getting a flashing orange light on the microtech when cranking?

I figured it out. The wiring coming from the lt10-s was in the wrong locations on the plug. The only wires in the correct spot were the ground wires.
