you could set a switch to activate a lower rev limit using the aux input, the best way would be to lower the rev limit through the hand control or load another map.

I ended up setting the "soft" rpm limiter to 3800 and that seemed to work ok. I just am worried about "fuel cut" happening if they were to try to boost it since my car starts making boost at around 3k.

I got my car detailed and didn't want any joyrides. When I got home I found out my tps was disconnected (my fault). Hopefully this weekend I can plug it back in and try some runs to see if it runs any better.
Dale-I guess making 2 different maps would be easiest and safest then?

yes 2 maps would be the best, or set the hard limiter,
the eaiest is to set up the switch on the aux input, just flick the switch and bingo low rev limit
