Microtech or PFC

I was going to go with the LT-10s but I just found out that Banzai Racing makes a harness for the PFC to work with my 88T2. My end goal is going to be Street port with GT35R. The thing I like the most of the PFC is that it's pretty much a plug and play. The car would be a daily driver on the summer months and some weekends at the track, both 1/4 and road course tracks.

None of them.

get the haltech e8 plugin.

I've owned both ecu's and preferred the Microtech.

Everything has its application.
On an FD.

I would do the power fc but i would also fit a brand new loom from mazda as well.

Same here. It really depends on how well the tuning support is for whatever ecu is out there in your area. I had the PFC tuned by a well known guru and the microtech by another. The car is noticeably more responsive, smoother and better on fuel etc. with the microtech. 14,000 miles so far. G

My 2 biggest bitches with the Power FC were the fact that in order to link it to a laptop you had to buy the third partydatalogit, and the fact that with changes in temperature, even minor changes, the damn thing would idle hunt no matter how many times I tried to correct for it.

with all the powerfc computers i have tuned. none of them hunt while idling.

Thanks guys this was a lot of help, is there a write up on how do the wiring for micro tech on the fc I know it's a long process of doing the wiring that's why I'm wondering if anyone has done a write up for this.
Thanks again guys

I have tuned the PFC, Haltech and microtech more times then I can count, I prefer the Power FC, for its ease of install, use and support. I have not yet seen an install on a microtech or haltech come into the shop that did not need some sort of rewiring before I could start tuning. The PFC is plug and play.

There is no idle hunting if the car is tuned correctly, the PFC acounts for changed in water and intake temperatures, it does not need to be retuned everytime the ambient air temp changed.
