microtech for my 12at...help needed!
Okay...after researching a couple other engine management systems I came to the conclusion with some guidance from some other guys on the forum that I should check out the new microtech systems. I was looking at getting either the LT8S or the LT10S with the turbo timer, hand controller, and the laptop adaptor software and cable. But my question come with the the LT10S. I was on the microtech website checking out the fact sheets to determine which one would best suit my needs but I couldn't find a fact sheet for the LT10S system. I've got turbo 2 coils, crank sensor, and air temp sensor from an FC but becuase of the lack of information I've been able to find on the LT10S system I don't know which system will best suit my 12at application. Guidence from the experienced would be much appreciated! As well as other things I might need to get everything working up to par. I would also really appreciate imput from people who have 12at motors as well!!

you can use either system with the fc coils,
the LT8s has one output and one input, the LT10 has 3 outputs and 2 inputs, mapping and software is identical on both! Dale |
will either system support an electric fan?

yes. But you'll want to wire the fan to a battery via a relay. MT will be the 'signal' -- don't run the fan w/ 12v from the MT. It's not made to carry that load.
Search this MT section and you'll see an overwhelming amount of info on this. |
