Microtech LT-8 Gauge Cluster Wiring
 

I have eliminated my stock harness and wired up a Full Microtech LT-8 harness on my FD3S. I have every wire hooked up that is on the LT-8 pinout. Car runs fine. However, nothing on my gauge cluster works. The stock harness was using the Microtech LT-8 Adapter (pictured below) which appears to have two additional connectors that do not have a place on the LT-8 harness. I'm at a loss as to where to connect these plugs as I do not need to use the adapter anymore that converts a factory harness to be used with the LT-8. Can anyone provide me with some advice as to how I can get my gauge cluster to get signal if I'm using a LT-8 with Microtech harness?

I believe u have to plug either the blue or white connector in to the matching one tucked up above under where passenger foot rest area is. Take a look and I'll check when i get home later. G

I never figured this out. Just started working on the car again. If anybody has any info.

Did you ever get gauges working?

This is just a wide guess based on a similar issue with a FD and a Haltech, and it has been about 5 years so...

If NONE of the gauges work, then it sounds like on of the main connectors under the hood on the left side is disconnected. That kills power to a lot of the dash.

The speedometer also needs to be jumpered once you eliminate the emissions harness. Should be finable by the search.

The tach is normally driven by the ECU. Not sure how the Microtech handles that but on any other ECU we'd just configure a spare output as the tach driver.
