Microtech handset reading

I have some problem reading the voltage correctly

i swap in a new battery from walmart because had a bad cell twice with those batteries , now with the new batteries the reading as below. when i had those bad batteries before the voltage fell so low that my engine died sometimes when i on my headlights. anyone has the same problem like i do?

do u guys ground the ecu?

when everything is off battery reads 12.63v , microtech handset reads 11.95v

when idling , battery reads 13.98v , microtech handset reads 13.30

at the alternator it reads 14.33v when multimeter is put to check directly on it

what's the prob now?

you probably have voltage drop on the supply line to the microtech, check the connection of the power supply to the microtech

i used 12 gauges wire for the power lines to the microtech. i soldered the connection as well, how should it read to be bad? or how will it look like?

thank you......

Make sure you have a good clean ground to, its a two way system.

i connected the negative wire directly to the negative terminal of the battery while the positive one go through the relay and the fuse then directlly to the positive terminal of the battery.....thats not good enough?

dont have to run the +pos wire through a realy, the ecu has a internal realy, the pink wire turns this on

oops sorry , what i meant was i wired the red wire of the microtech to the same terminals labelled 87 on the relay. guess this is not going through it right?
