Microtech for different series?

I have ran my 13bt for a while on an LTx8, and now Im going to get a cosmo engine. My question is will it run it too? I think the cas is different, is this going to matter? Im guessing the tps and other sensors wont matter, but I think the RE and REW use a different type of pickup sensor, not like the mechanical one on the bt. Neways, Im sure somebody knows what Im babling about.

s4,5 and cosmo are the same

Neat, just the rew has the wierd pickup sensors then? I take it I would need to get it reprogramed to run w/ that type of sensor?

yes for the rew it will need a reconfigure

dp the maps have to be richened or nething? due to the ports of the RE? this is what someone told me, but im not sure.

you will have to tune it to suit what ever motor it goes on,

I kno that, what im trying to say is that if i had a good tuned map on my s4 tii engine (550cc, 1600cc injectors), and put the same shit on the RE engine, will it have to be richened or leaned because of the port differences? or just leave it

Every motor is different. Even if it were another 13bt that you were transfering the ECU over to, there is not really a way to figure whether you need to richen it or lean it out how much. Hence, you will need to tune it again to suit.

you seem to not understand what im saying. I kno every motor is different, I mean that since the intake ports are smaller, and exhaust are bigger, does it consume more fuel than a 13bt with normal ports, or less? so what im asking is: should mixtrim + or -

10sec rx7 03-24-05 05:20 PM

you will need to richen it up a litle,
