Microtech diagram

first question would be that...do the microtech mt-8 and mtX-8 systems have the same wiring color and hook up the same, or are they different? From what i know they are different by going off of a mt-8 diagram for a 2nd gen. So if anyone out there knows where i can get the mtx-8 wiring diagram for my 3rd gen, or maybe has one they could send me, that would be awesome:cool:

the injector wires, power feed wires, water temp, air temp, aux, fuel pump etc are all the same, the only difference will be the crank pick up wires, and the coil driver wires,

on a X series you will have yellow for leading 1, orange for leading 2, yellow/black for trailing 1 and orange/ black for trailing 2

im 99% sure these are right but they are off the top of my head i will have to check this tonight when i get home,

Sweet, but having only 3 coils, being that leading 1&2 are together as one, with 4 coil wires, what do i do? so i should be getting the right diagram i need on the 11th, so thank you for the help dale, i might be back if i dont recieve it.

Wait, you bought an MTX8 but no coils? The MTX requires use of Bosch HEC715 transformer-type ignition coils.

Please drop me a line at br7_racing@yahoo.com, 3rdgenT4, and we can get this straightened out.

the MTX8 was shipped with coils... i think Brandon is quitely saying that there might of been a mixf up and he will help fix it??

Whoever sold 3rdgenT4 his MTX8 (not us) should have let him know that it required Bosch coils, and should have included a wiring diagram. I'm interested in doing what I can to help him out, as well as finding out who was responsible for this egregious "mix-up". We at BR7 Racing take our Microtechs very seriously ;)
