Microtech "Aux" injections option...

I have an Interceptor-X in my RX-8. It is nothing more than a Microtech LT10s in a plug and play case.

I have been messing around with this for the past couple years...I have one question.

The Int-X is setup differently in the RX-8 than in the RX-7. The idle and load maps control just the primaries. The other four injectors(the rx8 has 6 total) are controlled as two big secondaries...and they are actually controlled with the Aux screens after the Idle map from 2-20psi. If want to adjust fuel trim based on RPM under wot or while cruising which screen do I adjust? the AUXinj? that goes from 500-9000rpm? or the RPMwot? the RPMcrs? or what?

The way the system is setup makes things react different since certain maps only affect primaries etc...

The car has produced way over 400whp with my setup and I recently switched to E85 which is great...but I want to really tweak the maps in to make it street friendly. Lets just say I had some really good maps for gas and all they required was some fine tuning here and there to get pretty good results. Now I just did a half bridgeport on the engine and the tune that was marginal before is now completely in-adequate so I really need to be able to get full control of the tuning procedure.

Thanks for any and all help.

Chris

p.s. below find some pics of my set up.

Forgot to specify....I have 720cc primaries....and 1000cc+1680cc "secondaries"(2680cc secondaries...)...I know...big stage jump but that hasn't been an issue so far, running E85

Are you sure thats how it works? That sounds fairly different that how it works in a 7

Yeah, its setup differently...It's using the "auxiliary injection" function all the time. Normally this is used for additional injectors but in this case its wired in that way.

Any Ideas?

Chris
