Microtech Advice

Read my thread, I'm the guy with the longest ever 3 rotor conversion. Short story, I re-grounded my car and solved an amp issue but now my car is pig rich, especially at idle. The car is at about 10.5 AFR:) I am going to take the car to Jesus Padilla in a few weeks but I want to fix the richness at idle issue now so I can drive the car around. I also want to check my fan settings to ensure my fans are coming on at 90C.

So my question is how to do this in Microtech? I'm not familiar with Microtech but have tuned with other systems like the Wolf 3D. In the Wolf, setting AFR was very easy and done thru a map. How does it work in Microtech (I have an LTX12s)? Is it simple? Also, how about the fan setting?

I have borrowed a Dell laptop, begrudgingly paid the ridiculous $100 for the laptop adapter, and will attempt to do this later today so any advice is appreciated.

FYI - I don't have the manual. It's down at Jesus'.

Fan settings are on screen 29
Screen 1 is the idle setting for both norm/matrix

Im sure he tuned it in matrix so screen 2 will be 1k rpm

Not sure if you are in Asheville yet, but I would help you if you are and can give you a manual since I have so many of them.

btw first thing I would do is save the map to the adapter if you decide to do anything

Still in FL:) Very much appreciate the help and yes, I will save the map first before doing anything.

Take a screen capture of your map and post it here. Ill mod it for you.

Will do, but it will be tomorrow. The laptop I borrowed doesn't have a serial port so I have to go out and buy a USB to serial adapter.

Didn't know you had one. $100 for an adapter that should not be needed. Grrr...

As it turns out, it was my TPS that was out of calibration. Jesus walked me thru fixing this and it now idles very nicely at around 13 AFR. Unfortunately it looks like one of my fuel pumps has gone south and my fuel pressure is a little above 20 so I'm not driving the car right now. Am taking it down (trailer) to Jesus next weekend for him to check it out.
