Microtech with 1600cc injectors
There has been some talk regarding Microtech's fuel delivery resolution. My question is should I be OK running 1600cc secondaries with 680cc primarys on the Microtech, or should I stick with smaller injectors? I will be running a TO4b hybrid turbo, has anybody run a similar setup?

I run 1200cc primarys and secondarys, no problems with idle or drivability,
with the 1600 secondarys the switch over point becomes very critical, you will need to spend time of getting this sorted, Dale |
That is the dilema i am in right now. I am running stock primaries and 1600cc secondaries. I cant seem to get it tuned right. everyone i have spoken to regarding this tells me thats its better to run all the same cc's. makes it alot easier to tune, smoother when it hits the switch on point.
It makes sense. |
Jundoe you will get it eventually, just will take some time, have you got the %stg on 99??

Good info guys, thanks. jundoe stay in touch, let me know if you have any progress and what solutions you have found.

i just setup an FD with 550 pri and 2000 sec. :dunno:
course the secondaries were injector dynamics which helps greatly with the switchover. |
~720/750 primaries and 1600CC secondaries are a pretty standard combination. Same as what I have. %Stage is at 99% and I stage at 3000RPM and 2" of vacuum. I think I can get a better transition by moving up to stage at 2PSI, but my point is that you'll be fine.
