Mazda Air temp sensor help. older Microtech.

So I'm using an old MTX8, which utilises what appears to be a stock FC TII airtemp sensor. Numbers N362 and K5 stamped into it. Broke one of the terminals off, repaired it but bought another one, looks exactly the same N362 and 11S.
New one reads -30c on a 35c degree day or else it doesnt read at all.
Put the multi-meter on them both, the K5 reads like .36 ohm, the 11S reads 1.something - completely different scale.
Question is, Are there different air temp sensors for different FC rx7s? Or is the K5 off something else and where do i get one?
It seems Microtech only use LS sensors these days.
Cheers.

As far as I know, all FC ECT sensors are the same. Sounds like you may have a defective sensor.
