Maps for LT-8

Car has ported motor and a T-78. I am putting in 850cc primaries and already have 1600 cc secondaries. The car has been tuned but it runs awful. Wondering if anyone has maps for this or a similar setup. Any info would be appreciated, I am hoping to have the car on the dyno in a week and want as much info as possible.
Thanks

if u just have a plain lt8 then u cant swap maps over the internet. the only thing u can really do is a screen shot and show someone else ur setings.

I just got the adapter and the laptop software. I will take some pics and post them soon. I am wondering how others with similar setups are running at idle. My car idle sb/t 1150 and 1380 rpm. It also likes to stall until water temp hits 84c and air temp hits 40c. During warm up the car will fluctuate between 850 and 1450 rpm and stalls frequently. My a/f also fluctuates b/t 11.7 and 13.5 at idle. Often when Iam driving and put the car in neutral when coming to a stop the rpms will completely drop off and the car will stall, this is even after the car is warmed up. Any ideas?
Thanks

Is your TPS is calibrated?

black93RX7 08-13-04 03:10 AM

To be honest I have no idea. The guy who tuned the car spent aprox 40 hrs on the dyno and the car never ran right until he tuned on th eroad with a laptop. And even then there were still problems. I am just learning how to use the laptop for tuning. What do i nned to look for? Thanks

First up check for TPS calibration. If this has not been done, all your fuel values across the board will go to rats. Your fluctuation at idle showing both on your rpmīs and wideband point to being too lean.

What sort of port do you have, and what injectors?

I have a street port with 550cc and 1600cc. How do I check for TPS calibration?. Also when the car was being tuned on the road we had alot of flames out the exhaust during deceleration. The tuner pulled alot of fuel out during decel to prevent this, could that have anything to do with this? Sorry for the dumb questions I am new to tuning.
Thanks

i think its map 31 2nd option it says tps calb. you hit the program button and you go up with the adjustment until your reading of the tps value is 0% then you hit the program button again so you can get get out of that mode and then you check your full throttle for 99% at wide open throttle.
so basically the tps should show 0% in the data menu otherwise you maps will be off like goodwin said

So the tps calb. map should read 0% at idle? And if it doesn't I should Adjust it to 0% and check at WOT?

Does the * just mean youatre in program mode?

Forget it I just read the link so our system is fitted with a variable resistor type TPS. Right?
Thanks for all the info, I will try it out tommorow.
