LT9c ground issue (fuel pump and fan relays)

Hello everyone,

I currently got my car running. It runs great. I had a professional install and wire the LT9c (brand new out of the box from microtech). Everything is fine, but we can't get the fuel pump to turn on, or the fan to turn on. My guy tried to turn on via software on his laptop, still nothing. Once we ground the terminal on both fuel pump and fan relays, they both turn on. Fuel pump turns on and fan turns on. My guy thinks it's an issue with the microtech ecu unit? Everything works great with the ecu other than those 2 issues. Any ideas, or does it look like it's the new ecu?

Thanks,
Joe

must use a relay and ground its earth to throw the earth ( or power ) on the pump

wiring fan or pump directly to ecu without relay = burnt transister

We are using new relays for both, and using the ground to throw the power.. New unit and was wired correctly, as the guy wiring it has wired dozens of microtechs. Must be a bad unit from Microtech. We ordered a new unit early this week. We shall see. Thanks for the input.

Problem fixed, it was a bad microtech ecu.
