get your voltage fixed as this will cause major issues
|
I got the big alt on. Tried your map in normal mode was still lean free revving. Would not idle either. Battery has been on the tender so it should be ready to go now.
Should I start in normal mode and get it where it runs decently? When changing things in normal mode, just change the load map and it will adjust everyhing by itself? |

Idle Map

Make sure the tps is properly calibrated and make sure once its on that you have 13+v all the time.
|
TPS is calibrated again after moving tps. Got the idle up a little bit, batt voltage is 14-14.3. Last night with the lights on when the E fan kicks on, the car would almost die. Then it would idle at ~12 volts. I have an optima red top, that 180 amp alt, and what I believe to be stout wiring... I think I will add another ground from motor, as I am getting a 4k break up. Also going to run a power from alt directly to pos on battery.
It was better on that one Rx72c. Light and partial throttle was much better, almost perfect, rich up top if I remember right. And higher load was lean. I was just trying to lean into the throttle but it would go lean. Couldnt get into boost at all. |
Ok if you do a datalog it will help me put together a better map for you but put this in and lets see if it improves more
Idle Map Screen 1 30" ~ .95 25" ~ .95 20" ~ 1.38 15" ~ 1.81 10" ~ 2.15 05" ~ 2.35 00" ~ 2.65 2-20psi ~ 4.95 Load Map Screen 3 30" ~ 0.95 25" ~ 0.95 20" ~ 1.33 15" ~ 1.81 10" ~ 2.25 05" ~ 2.65 00" ~ 3.55 2psi ~ 3.5 4psi ~ 4.5 6psi ~ 4.9 8psi ~ 5.5 10psi ~ 5.9 14psi ~ 6.4 16psi ~ 6.8 18psi ~ 7.5 20psi ~ 8.5 |
I do not have my wideband running through the ecu, so I dont know how beneficial the log would be.. ? I will do it anyhow.
|
i can see were the missfire is happening gives me a good idea whats going on. try the above map should fix most of your issues.
|
Ok, thank you very much. I will try it out tonight!

I think I will get a compression tester tomorrow just to be sure. With the staging, since rpmstg is 1320 and %stg is 50 and and mapstg is at 02", does that mean my problem is right after the 2ndarys stage? Do you have to meet both conditions for them to stage? Be both over 1320 rpm and over 02"? Or if 1 is met, it automatically stages them? Does it matter what values I have in matrix? I have switched to normal to try your map, but was unsure if matrix has any bearing on how normal mode runs. I am assuming not, but ya never know! rx72c-you have a pm. |
I noticed that with key on, car off the load is showing -02hg. The computer screen also differs slighty from my boost guage.. Is that normal?
|
normal
|
Turns out I had a bad secondary injector...
