Lt8s ECU - No tach signal

I've just installed mr Lt8s ECU and all seems to be fine. however, I have a couple of questions for the experts.

1. When the car starts cold and then warms up during the cold start mode all seems good, but when I try to restart after being warmed up it sound like it loading up and running on one rotor, if you let it idle for 5-10 sec it just kicks in and idles perfectly. I have already adjusted the crank values and it sounds alittle better.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

2. My setup uses the stock coils and stock ignitor. I have checked the wiring over and over and it's installed according to the Microtech manual...However, there's still NO TACH OUTPUT from the ECU. (gray / white)

Can someone give me some input as what they feel could be the problem?

Well There should be 2 different wires running to the trailing coil which is where the ECU gets the signal for the Tach. It should be Red/gray and gray/black i belive. You have to cut the tan and pink before the clip and solder in WHILE still running through the clip...if you bypass it, than it wont recive the signal. Those colors might be wrong i cant remember off the top of my head...just check the 2 going to the trailing coil. Good luck
