LT16, do I hook up the o2 sensor?

I have LT16 for 20b. I don't have O2 sensor and air temp connected with my ECU.. just curious whether those are necessary.

If so... can I splice my wideband LC-1 o2 sensor wire somehow to connect to the ECU or weld a separate bung?

and can I use haltech air temp sensor for the air temp sensor?

thanks all!

for the air temp all depends what was it setup for.
and for the o2 wire depends. if the ecu is one of the latest prob came with the wideband input upgrade

it'd be great to wire in the wideband to lt16. can lt16 use this signal to auto-tune the car?

turns out I actually have AEM UEGO which has 0-5v output from the gauge

no

thanks for the reply. so is the o2 input on the microtech LT 16 only for logging?

yes just to see afrs thats it

Shocking isn't it? That an ECU released in the last few years doesn't even have such a basic function as closed loop? While even a $300 Megasquirt 1 has closed loop read from an AFR table, as well as tuning software (several choices in fact) that can autotune live or by reading a log file.
