lt10 with x4 compatibility with factory coils
i was looking on here and cant figure out if i can use the x4 box with the factory coils. its confusing thing and cant find out if if can be done or not. or if i have to go with different coils. if so what coil do i have to use and what will work best for me.

you have to use the x4 coils with the x4 box if thats the way the microtech is setup.
which would be these i believe http://www.microtechefi.com/microtec...?product_id=15 Also they have a forum on their site im not using the x4 box etc.. because i had microtech setup my ecu to run the factory coils you cant use the factory coils without microtech reformatting your ecu i believe Forum http://www.microtechefi.com/forum/ |
If you have your x4 box with lt10s must use either 4Xbosch coils or 4Xmazda trailing coils stripped of their ignitors.
thats what i did since i didnt have the bosch coils i just stripped the trailing coils of their igniters and put them in that way. i was getting a tach signal so i hope that means that im getting crank signal. the other part is that when i do crank it after a turn the key shortly after i get the red blinking light so i dont know what the problem maybe.
thats why i also asked cory if he had a laptop connector or the hand controller. but i didnt get a response from you.
ive got a laptop adapter sry. your only going to get a spark from one set of your coil packs when trying to start it.
thats fine the laptop adapter will work i just need to find out why the red light is blinking. also not to mention so that i can set the tunning to factory, and maybe it will fire that way because when i bought the microtech i dont know what tune he had on there.
