LT-8 harness

does anyone know where to get a harness for an LT-8 or does anyone have a good used harness?

I got a good deal on an LT-8 but it didn't come with its harness and I want to install it into my 10AE

before anyone asks yes it if for a rotary. it was in a 1st gen with an S4 T2 13b

You can buy a harness from any of the Microtech dealers, or try your luck buying directly from Microtech.

Or, if you are the DIY type, the harness connector on the LT-8 is exactly the same as that on an ATX computer motherboard.

dude the diy method is easy!! get atx plug from nearly ANY computer hack it off with as much wire as you can to play with and then look at the wiring diagram microtech gives you and play match the pins (solder marked wire color or otherwise to matching pigtail lead off ATX) the only tricky part would be either a)finding that many different color wires to make it correct to diagram or b)use any color wire you want and carefully label them. Either way it will get you on the road probably a lot faster then trying to find a used harness.

this is what I have but im not good at making harness's, I also have half a microtech harness in wire (no clips) and a jdm t2 harness for all the clips. ps yes my microtech use to be a MT-8 but it was upgraded with all new LT-8 guts

Don't use old connectors from a "JDM" harness, at least not for important stuff. For example, buy new injector connectors at the auto parts store. And the CLT sensor is the same as used on the square injectors. You can get new connectors for the TPS at the auto parts store.

I would personally NEVER buy a used wiring harness. A new one from a Microtech dealer is money well spent.

In your picture, it appears you are missing the CAS harness.

I currently have an LT8 in my 10th AE that I'll be getting rid of. I'd be willing to sell you the harness seperately for the right price. PM me...
