Have you re stabed the timing and set the timing to TDC?

Aaron Cake 11-10-07 09:50 AM

Do you have any kind of wideband? Those injector times look VERY high for low boost. What injectors are you running?

Edit...though it looks like you staging settings are probably set too high. You need to low the RPM and MAP stage point a little.

J-Cee 11-10-07 03:41 PM

for a wideband just went out and bought one got the aem uego and for the injectors im running stock on the primary and 1000cc venoms on the secondary. The settings are just about stock in the mapping other than idle but i have some lowering to do also i have a medium street port on the motor.

Aaron Cake 11-11-07 09:46 AM

It looks like you are putting way too much fuel into the engine.

I also suggest you lower your stage point to around 2000 RPM and 2" of vacuum.

J-Cee 11-11-07 03:11 PM

too much fuel ok your right the afr is 10.5-13.9 about 12.7 at idle and 10.9 under boost under light throttle 11.4-11.8 do you think i should lower the mixtrim insted.

Aaron Cake 11-12-07 06:41 PM

Don't miss with MixTRIM. Tune it properly instead. MixTRIM lowers fuel over the entire fuel curve.

Actually, 10.9 under boost isn't too bad, but it's richer then necessary.

11.4 under light throttle is WAY too rich.

all right i just got it fixed it runs sooo much better i used a poor/crazy mans dyno. I let my woman (she can drive and now wants a duplicate car) drive it on a 2 mile road around my way the lap top on my lap, adjusting and more adjusing $40.00 more in gas and got it all good up too 7k man that takes time. The temp is better 82/84c and soo much more power less boost spike 10psi afr is 11.0, 6-7 psi 11.5, crusing and light throttle 13.9, idle is like 13.00. Wow the power doesn't stop i think i can rev even higher lighting the tires in 3rd gear w/dryrotted 205/60-15 pirelli's on the rear that are now bald, belts showing. peak power feels like @5500 rpm thats where they start breaking loose. All the poping/chugging i was getting from it was too much fuel afr was under 10.00 at times before the help. Aaron cake THANK YOU for the help:)

Aaron Cake the center dash gauge mount you have who, what,WHERE? I have been looking all over for one.

Aaron Cake 11-14-07 07:11 PM

Glad things are working out. Amazing the difference getting a decent fuel curve makes...:)

The center dash pod is an APC gauge pod that I cut up. I just trimmed the bottom to fit the FC dash.
