Install questions
 

Horray, I'm finally getting around to installing my stand alone after it sitting in my closet for 5 years....and I wish I was kidding. FYI the car is an S4. I just got done removing the factory pass side harness. I untaped and removed the yellow harness that includes the cruise, wiper wiring and a mystery 2 prong female connector with black/red. There were 3 wires I had to cut to get that assembly removed They were

Yellow/white
black
brown/red

To be honest, I don't feel like plugging through pgs of the FSM to figure out what those are. Anyone know? I suppose one is the coolant temp wire and I can rewire that...

Also, there was a single plug in connector near the oil filter (not the pressure sender, this went into the rear iron). What was that?

The knock sensor...can that just be removed or will I need to find a plug?

The misc BS in the pass kick panel. Appears to be a reference pressure sender, there was a lose silver box...haven't gone inside the car to retrieve it yet...


I think I'll tackle cleaning up the drivers side some other day, a day when I get bored.
