install questions?

i was wondering what all vacum lines would there be if installing a lt8 in a 89 tII? i was just wondering if i could get like a quick install guide or somethihng along the lines of what all needs to be kept?

This is a good question. From what ive concluded, youll use lines for:

Boost sensor (ECU)
Boost Gauge
FPR
Blow Off Valve
Wastegate
Brake Booster

Thats all I can think of.

thanx and waht would be good sources for those if u dont mind?

Assuming thats all you need, you could probably get them all off the back of your upper intake manifold, and cap the rest of the hundreds of open lines. I think the brake booster would need a vaccum only source, (someone correct me if im wrong) and I wouldnt know where to get that.

The booster has a checkvalve in line to prevent positive pressure. You'll also need a line for the oil metering system (if you still have it) and I think there are some lines for the injector bleeds...correct me if I'm wrong.

Are you talking about the injector air bleeds? Don't need a vac. for them.

Not vac, but you should leave them connected to the correct nipples on the manifold as per stock.
