Injector Question
 

I have had this question I need answering for a while now and I really need to get the issue resolved before I can continue.

I have an LT-8s and want to run 2x1300cc primary injectors and 4x1600cc batch-fired secondary injectors. These are all low impedance injectors. The manual says the Microtech can run 8 high impedance batch-fired injectors.

Can I mix impedances between primary and secondary injectors? I was thinking I could run the primaries without resistors and use resistors with all of the secondary injectors. Do I need to run resistors at all? I really need an experienced opinion on this, I don't want to burn up an injector driver or something and get raped by Microtech on repair costs.

I emailed Microtech once before, but did not recieve a response.

Yes running 2 injectors per channel is fine,provided they aren't super low impedence
You can safely go down to 1.25 ohms per driver (you could run 2x 2.5ohm injectors)
Any lower than that & you will have problems.

I know, old thread. But, is it possible to run 4 low-impedence injectors per driver in any way? ECU is an LT-10s, Injectors are Bosch EV1 1600 white-tops, 4.5 Ohms resistance. I know it's 4 amps per driver on the Microtechs, but I'm useless when it comes to Ohm's law.
