Increased Engine Cranking time after MT install?
I've noticed that the engine is required to crank longer before starting, since installing my LT10. Is this common?
Thanks, Buzz |
yea, it doesnt engage the trailling coils during cranking. Which means that if your engine has less than perfect comp. itll take a bit longer to start.

mine takes a bit too, seems to be normal for a lot of microtech users. It could also have something to do with the idle air control not being controlled by microtech.

Takes awhile to setup your crank parameters. I messed with my water temp correction map (I think... kinda forgot which map), and after a couple days messing with it, I got my car to start after turning over once or twice. BTW, I'm in SoCal, so weather doesn't change much in this area from season to season.
