How to tune for starting? Help!
My car currently holds an idle for as long as I want it to.
When its cold its difficult to start but I can get it to with a few pumps of the throttle....however, when it is already warm its nearly impossible to start....and only does so if I start cranking and go to full throttle...and it barely wants to stay running and I have to pump it until it accelerates and then it idles fine. It idles great regardless of the water temp so I doubt it is the water temp map that I have to change...at least it cant be out by much. Its a Half-Bridge Renesis with an LT10s I just need know what parameter I have to affect to make changes to this situation. Timing at 500rpm??? Gap at idle???? Crak Map???? Please Help. Chris |

They vary but I tried having them at 0 when the temps rise and it didn't make a difference. The car runs on E85 and its halfbridgeported. I remember reading about bridgeports needing more cranking fuel than normal due to the overlap.
Anyone? Thanks. Chris |
Show me your map.
