How to setup 2nd map for above 4k
 

I was on the phone with gary (microtech tuner in WA) and he said the microtech is setup with a fuel map to 4k about and then a second map must be applied to make the car go above 4k. I drove my car to 3.5k and it won't go any higher even floored. How do I add the second map to allow the higher rpms to come in? I would rather do it myself that pay big dollars for a tuner if I can get it done at home you know :p
