I have the wires from the transmission leading into the car, and i need to know which wire comes from the trans that is for the speedometer, and which wire do i hook it up to??? thanks in advance...

cmon guys, has nobody hooked their speedometer back up after their microtech install?

Or am i way off on my thinking?

Your way off, the speedo is mechanical. The cable runs from the back of the tranny to the back of the speedo. It screws in on both sides.

you sure? that sounds kind of wierd for a car from the 90s... How come it stopped working after the microtech was installed? And how would i get it functional again?

If you have a third gen then Im not to sure. I always default to a second gen. Guess Im biased lol.

Is it just the speedo that isn't working or are other parts out as well?

well, pretty much none of my guages in the dash are working. But none of them are hooked up either.

check your connectors by the passenger side and make sure all your grounds are good. I had the same problem with mine. It ended up just being a bad ground there by the passenger side area
