How to connect Innovate MTX-L to LTX-12

I have an innovate MTX-L wideband with Bosch LSU4.2 sensor. Can some one explain if/how I connect this to my ECU? The wideband comes with a cable to connect to a laptop via a serial port which I don't have! My LTX-12 ECU looks to have a square black plug similar to an injector one which I believe is for the wideband but I don't know if and what sort of adapter I need to get form the wideband to the ECU or whether it needs to go through another box which I don't have? Please can someone advise as it should would help with mapping, logging and trying to iron out a few little rough spots.
Thank you
Lee

Does your ecu read wideband or narrowband, if narrowband, connect the brown (simulated narrowband signal) wire from the mtx-l to the O2 wire on your ecu harness.

I did this for my LT8s and it reads narrowband, and I have come to find that its not worth the aggravation, on the microtech software it will display only 2 numbers for me, 11 and 14.7 so I don't go off what the program is telling me for my afr.

I would have to check.. I assume the manual will tell you? Got other issues to resolve first now. Sparks keeping intermittently dropping out?! Will post a new thread! You have to love messing with cars!

It should, idk much about the other microtech models, so I'm not gonna be much help on that part. I just know that if it runs narrowband or wideband, you have to hook the corresponding wire from the MTx-L to the O2 wire on the ecu harness.
