Heres some questions

As I understand it MT's are car/sensor specific right?

If I get a MT for a Maz and later want to install it on a

say for example a Honda
what happens? would I need to send it back to get reprogrammed?

Or like later I want to install a FD engine I have
into my FC that uses diffrent sensors

also how those the MT handle the fuel pump via its own
relay or would I have to use the stock FC3S relay?

Does the MT have a calibrate Throttle position fuction?
(If I keep the delco TPS)

How do you setup timming with the MT

On the E6K I would have to zero the timming then set to initial timming lock -then with a timming gun align the pointer etc......

Someone should start a website with instructions on setting up/installing Tips a MT on S4/S5-S6 Rx's

something like the HitMan has for the Haltech

Yes they are car specific, if you purchase a mazda computer and would like to put it on a honda it will need to have the honda ignation setup put in it and the resistance for the sensors changed to honda resistance, some people think this is bad, but personally i think it is heaps better becuase you know you are getting a ecu that will work with your car and you dont have to spend hours trying to work out the ignation setup and change wheels in CAS etc. It generally takes a few days to get swapped over to a new car,

The MT has a fuel pump trigger wire, and comes supplied with its own realy for it, it uses a -Neg trigger so the other pin goes to ignation and then the battery pos in and out, the computer will prime the pump for about 5 secs then turn off, and will start when it sences the ignation pluses, also if the engine stops the fuel pumps will stop.

Yes you can calabrate you TPS, there is a adjustment you use to get it to 0%

To set the timing you put on the timing check, which takes all additional timing out of the engine and then set the timing using the adjustment on the CAS then turn the timing check off.

Jon from Rx enginnering will be putting stuff like this on his web site shortly,

The Web site will be about a week away all going well.
It will have all that sort of tech stuff on it.
If you can think of anything else then let me know & i'll incorporate it into the site.
Jon
