help with some wireing MT lt12s with x6

hello all

I have a couple of question regarding my MT lt12s ems with the x6 ign box.
I bought the unit used form a member on here a couple days ago. I was told it was it was basically a plug and play set up since the wiring had all been done, and it just needed power to go.
after receiving the unit I looked over the wiring and the schematics and I have a couple question that he could not answer since he did not remember.
all the wiring to the sensors looks to be good according to the schematics, my question is about the relay for the fuel pump.
when I got the unit it did not have a relay on it. I looked at the schematic and found pink to be ignition on 12v+ and the green wire labeled fuel pump relay.

on the harness I got from him he had a 4 wire loom with pink (ing switched for fuel pump relay)
blue/white (tack output) for rpm gauge
white wire (aux output) is this for fan control? I could be wrong but I saw on another thread this was what it was for.
and there was also a white/black wire (aux #2) what is this used for?

my concern is, I did not get a relay wire up so now I am just trying to figure out how it goes.
(about fuel pump) he only had pink. is there a way to wire up the fuel pump relay with just this wire? or would I be better off using the pink and the green wire as the schematic shows it? seems a little safer this way
any input would be appreciated on this.
he also had a 2 wire loom by the injectors with a white/red wire and pink (coming from the switched 12v+ as the one that goes to fuel pump relay) any idea what this is for? I know I have the white/red wire labeled at home but I can remember what it shows to be for right now. will update later

I had a couple other question
#1 what aux output to use for fan switch control? if my above is correct, white wire it is, if not please correct me

#2 does microtech have an electronic boost controller option? would like to have boost controlled by the ecu, but if not I guess a manual one will do.

#3 if I was to want the idle air hooked up, what aux would I use? I have it deleted as of now, but just incase I wanted to install it back.

i think this should be all the question i have for now

thanks in advance for all those who can help me out

let's stick with one thing (question) at a time.

first, precisely draw us what you have now. it's confusing by words and one wrong wire can royally screw up your build.

Pink wire is just to send signal to the relay to turn pump on. The Aux outputs you can use for whatever fan, electric water pump etc. More than likely the white is for fan.

I bealive the green one is what sends the signal for the pump since pink goes to a switched source to power the ecu when key is on and this wire also gives relay power while green gives signal.

Did a drawing to see if it makes more sence
http://i652.photobucket.com/albums/u...pssffcik8u.jpg Okay. Don't mind my drawing but it seems easier to just draw it like this then take pics of all the wireing lol
Coils are not pictured
I'll start with the 4 wires at the bottom.
Pink=fuel pump relay ign 12v switched
Blue=tack output (rpm)
White=Aux output (fan control?)
White/black=Aux 2 ?
I labeled them according to the schematic I have for wireing a 13b.

This 4 wires were in a loom
I know what all of them are, but in the schematic it shows a green wire that meets the pink one for pump relay. It is drawn on the top side. The guy was not using this wire and that is what has me confused...
wouldn't having switched power to fuel pump make it run non stop if the key is on and not just prime?
Or is there a way to wire it up with just the pink wire?
Am I better of just using the green wire and installing in a relay? That's what I am leaning towards.

There was also a 2 wire loom not in use, it was pink wire(12v switched same as the one to ft relay see pic), and White/red (aux 3)
Along with that, I am trying to figure out if the white wire (aux outout) is for fan control.
What aux 2 is used for
what aux 3 is used for? This will give me an idea what the 2 wire loom could be for.

Hope this makes more sense with my drawing

once again Thanks in advance

PINK should come from power wire from IGN RELAY. The PINK then supplies 12V SIGNAL (not power supply) to the fuel pump relay and 12V IGN signal to ecu. It should touch nothing else.

yes, white/blue is TACH OUTPUT if you have separate device that needs an input.

I'm guessing you mean IGN RELAY by "switched source". That looks fine.

White should supply SIGNAL GROUND for fan relay. You can probably use your "white/red" 12V IGN as SIGNAL POWER for fan relay.

Leave aux2 alone for now.

Yes, by ign power I did mean switched/signal.

So aux 3 (white/red) is 12v ign?
Or do you mean the pink one that is next to the white/red? Same wire that sends ign signal to ecu and fuel pump relay?
And so is white a ground then? Saw on a different thread it was power and then I would just ground other fan wire to chassis ground. After the relay of course.
https://www.rx7club.com/microtech-11...ontrol-706694/
What I get from this is
85 switched 12v pink?
86 ecu aux white?
30 fused high current
87 to fan + wire
Other fan wire to chassis ground.

Last question, does microtech have a function for boost controller? Or will I just have to use a manual boost controller? No big deal if I do I would just rather have it controlled by ecu.

Once I know this I should be set. I think...
Thanks again

Okay, nvm on the fan relay.
The white is a negative. Just looked at the schematic.
It should be right how it shows on the thread I posted.

okay, one last question, where is the ign relay located?
Sorry I can be kind of challenged, but I just want to get my rx7 on the road :icon_tup:

you may be better off asking the rx7 subsection depending on your model. I have an rx8.

all you're doing is running low current coil circuit with the pink, so any wire that reads 12v with ignition-on should be fine.
