HELP!! questions on how to log a/f ratio with lt10s
 

im hearing that in order to connect a aem wideband to the lt10 ecu u have to have the wideband option activated within the ecu ......is this true?
hp motoring said that lt10s ecu's came with that option
my question is how can i data log my air fuel ratios with my aem wideband and if its not possible what are my options?

The short answer is that your ecu must have the wideband option installed. Its an expensive reconfigure so most people know if they have it (i dont :( )
It does come with afr logging but only narrow band which is 0-1v where as the loggable output on your aem should be 1-5v if i remember right. I experimented with using a voltage reduction circuit on my wideband output to get it into the narrow band range. The microtech read it but only from about 14.1-15.3. Anything else jumped to either end of the spectrum (10-1 or 19-1). Theres a great post somewhere explaining why, something about different shaped graphs of voltage versus afr for wideband and narrowband.

How expensive is it? Darn I was afraid of that how are you logging a/f ratios? I herd of people using a seperate box from innovative motorsport jus to log a/f

Best guess around $225-250 AUD plus $50 AUD shipping and about three weeks from what I've read. That seems to be the trend yes, it'd be just great if we could log afr alongside rpm, load etc. Make tuning a heck of a lot easier.

Oh well maybe someday all us Microtech chumps will wise up and buy Motec or Megasquirt eh? :p
