I Just Bought The Lt10 And I Am Sodering The Tps Sensor Up But I See It Has 2 Ground Wires But The Instructions Say That It Should Be As Follows.

Green/green Check
Red/red Check
White/yellow Check

IF it is s4
the blue wires goes to the orange wire on a s4 tps. the grey wire goes to the green wire on the tps. the brown wire goes to the black wire on the tps.

i hope that helps.

If it is s5.

Its the same. But you only wire up one tps. the one closest to the alternator. you completely ignore the wiring of the other tps.

There are only three wires on the S4 TPS. The colours don't match what you are saying. Offhand it's brown (or black), green and orange.

You'll find the wiring diagram in the Microtech manual.

Aaron.
Have a look at the wires he described. Sounds alot like he is wiring the Crank Angle Sensor.........

kingbob1000 10-20-08 06:55 AM

its not the crank angle sensor this tps sensor just had different colors than the manal described. i am wiring it to the clip not to the sensor right? the electrical system is far from my specialty. thanks again for the help
