fuel pump relay question..
 

i'm looking at the wiring diagram and where it says to connect the + to "87" of the relay, do i tap that wire in to the harness that leads to the STOCK fuel pump relay in the front? or can i just get rid of that wire all together and just connect the + to the "87"?

just use the relay that they provide... we dont need to use the stock ressitor relay to make it work =)...

cause i got it hooked up in the stock location right now.

that i have no idea.... i just used the one provided and its fine until now... lol

where the hell can i get a connector for my air temp. sonsor? i can't find mine... or could i just fab something up?

lol , i cant find a connector to it as well.......i just soldered some new wires onto it and got some weather pack connectors in case in future i want to disconnect it without cutting it...

Use the supplied relay as in the wiring diagram that was supplied with the microtech. You need to supply it with switched 12v power and constant 12 v power then run a wire down the fire wall follow the fuel supply and return lines, drill a hole up through the floor near where the lines go up through it and find your pos side of the fuel pump and cut loose the stock wire and connect the new one. Be sure to grommet the hole you drilled. I also sleevd mine with silicone hose for a few feet back from the rear diff.(that is all silicone is good for anyway) then you can get rid of the stock relay crap. and have 12-13 v at your pump all the time. as for your temp sensor are you talking air or water? if it's water go any autozone and get a fuel injector plug. its the same thing. if it is air temp use 2 weatherproof female connectors, the kind that has the built in shrink wrap stuff works well. when doing the wire harness install. Always solder the connections and you can loose the convoluted tubing and go to Frys or radio shack and buy different sized shrink wrap in 3 ft lgths. it works great and looks real clean. Where the wires branch off the main harness you can get the shrink wrap to look as though it was one piece if you work at it. I have installed several units this way and if you plan your routing it comes out looking way better than a stock harness. good luck.

it is the air temp connector i was talking about... does it matter which prong on the sensor i use? i don't wanna mix the two up.
