Fuel injector flow rates?

I was reading the manual and in the section for fuel injector flow rates it states that your injectors must be able to handle 25% than your max fow rate. So if this is true I have two 550 cc primaries and two 1600cc secondaries. This would make my max flow rate 321.90 Lph. My concern is that my walbro only does 255Lph. My question is that if I'm not using my injectors to their full potetial is this really necessarry?

How much power are you making? What are your injector duty cycles at full WOT and full boost?

Well, right now the car has the factory turbo, but I have some other mods done as well. I am actually looking several different turbos trying to weigh my options. I want to be able to get around the 400whp mark. I've done a majority of the supporting mods. I'm just wondering if a second fuel pump is necessary?

That is plenty of injector for that hp.

I know, but I want to make sure that the fuel pump can supply enough gas. Any opinions?

400 is sort of pushing it for a walbro but it's been done. you may want to go with a bosch 040 intank or maybe two walbros.

Yeah, what they said. That is certainly enough injector, and probably enough fuel pump. I've put together a few cars with 400HP using Walbro pumps.
