First time try....help
So i just finished wiring up my m-tech. But when i turn the key on, my fuel pump comes on but it stays on for like 20-30 secs. Under the hood it sounds like 1 fuel injector is wide open putting gas in the engine...not good. But when i pull the plugs and turn over the motor its dry in there. Any ideas on why the pump primes that much?? And or why it sounds like its dumping gas in but not really.?? Any help would be great thanks guys!

Its normal for your fuel pump to be on for a few seconds before you start the engine. If you have an after market fuel pump like Walbro, you can hear it very well. Does the engine start or do you crank till the battery goes dead? If it doesnt double check how you wired the CAS wires.

it will sound like fuel is flowing around under your manifold, you could also mistaken it for fuel flowing in your engine.
if your fuel is in fact pumping into your enigne, you will hear your injector going TICK TICK TICK TICK. as it pulses. just fire it up and see how it goes. |
