Engine enters prime mode at 185f water temp...

At 185f water temp, my issues occur. For some reason every time i drive the car for about 45 minutes and the temp reaches 184-5 ish my wideband innovate guage flashes 7.4 (just like it does when I first turn on my microtech and power and fuel pump to prime the engine for first start). The temp does not increase much after the 7.4 "primer mode" and I do not feel any bogging or power changes... Have not run it long in this period to check for fouled plugs which would tell me that it actually is running rich or not. As soon as I turn the car off and on the "primer mode" is immediately gone. Anyone know what this is? or if its a setting in the microtech that I need to change?

I have read over the manual soo many times and have not found this issue addressed. Anyone know what it could be?

thanks

Maybe call Innovate? Sounds like you are overheating the sensor. I don't see anything in this post referring to a Microtech issue. :)

Mine does the same thing and it is not your microtech. Your bosch sensor is fried.
Where do you have it mounted. Mine is about 3 foot back around the tranny area and i still smoked it in like 4 months

sounds like a dead sensor, +1.

yeah it only happens occasionally now... In process of innovate return but looks doubtful...
