ecu fan wiring

how do you wire up an efan to an lt8? im guessing run the output wire to the fan, but i dont think the output wire is hot... anyone know?

You must hook up the fan via a relay.
the wire that comes from the microtech is a negative trigger.

the wire colour is white.

you get the relay. connect the white wire to the 85 Pin.
connect ignition to the 86 pin
then connect live power from the battery to 87
and connect the fans positive wire to the 30 pin.

It should be the same kind of relay you used for the fuel pump. You can get a bosch one at any auto parts store.

Get 12v power from 80amp main fuse terminal / ground fan neg wire to the frame/ use 10 gage wire on fans main power [fuse terminal & ground] then use 16 gage to key switch the microtech white wire is 18 gage.
