Datalogging

Since most people do not have the wideband datalogging option on the microtech, and since you can only have 500 samples when connected to the laptop be datalogged.
I was curious what people use to datalog?

Send your Microtech in to be upgraded

You can add this feature to your existing MicroTech just send it in to be upgraded, and purchase the DataLogging/Wideband features. These are 2 separate add-ons.

What unit do you have? I have a couple I purchased to resell, but I have been real busy so I don't have time. It is nice because you get everything in one single log file.

Good Luck

I just had success tuning this week with my lt10s with no wideband feature. I have the innovate wideband with the simulated narrowband connected to my microtech. You also need a afr guage(I'm using a voltmeter)

when programming the narrowband output I select the range in which I am trying to target. I will set the 1 volt reading to say 13.8 and the 0 volt reading to 14.8. You then have to adjust the actual voltage slightly. the higher voltage is something like 0.98 and the 0 voltage is something like .02 volts. I calibrated this by using the 2nd output of the wideband going to the afr guage and use the mixtrim while free revving. whenever it is between 13.8 and 14.8 it will log 14.7 on the microtech. when it goes out of the range it will read lower and quickly register 11 on the mt and when it goes above it will hit random voltages above 14.7. so basically I am looking to only see exactly 14.7 while logging to determine I am in that afr range. Now that example is for my cruising points. when i get into load and higher boost I change the afr outputs to hit those same .98 and .02 voltages to get into different ranges. I switched to 10.8 and 11.5 for higher boost. It is a little complicated and you have to reset the wideband and not quite as accurate as a real wideband setup but it is getting the job done nicely for me.
