Couple questions LT8/12
Ok, after reading around a bit I still haven't found the answers I want, so can someone help me out here, or point me to a good link that spells out teh ECU differences?
A) LT vs LTX? what's the difference? B) 8 vs 12. What differences are there other than the 0-1V O2 sensor input for the LT8 and the wideband display capability on the 12? Basically here's what I'm thinkin.. Right now I'm running a stock -SE 1st gen, but it's not likely going to stay that way. 1st I'll probably go with a monster ports N/A and I'd like to move to the standalone because of the severe limitation of the stock flapper door air sensor. Then in teh next year of so I'll probably gather up the funds to just go ahead with the full on SM2 turboII swap. BUT I'd like to not have to buy ANOTHER standalone because I didn't buy one with enough functions the 1st time around... Helpful suggestions? links? etc? mmmm groupbuy..... (homer simpson voice) |

(homer simpson voice) As far as "enough functions", well, that's going to depend on what all you want to do. :) If you're looking for a "turn the hazards on at 160 and make me toast" ECU, the LT probably isn't for you. ;) Brandon BR7 Racing |
