which coils to use for lt8 fc t2 s4
i have lookd and cant tell if you can use stock coils or what??
4 trailing coils? 4 bosch? 4 msd? i need to know so i can make a decision on buying a microtech |
If your staying under 350hp keep your factory coil packs.
Over 350hp run lt10s+X4box with 4 X trailing coils. You thread is a little confusing though, if your going to use an lt8, YOU MUST USE BOTH YOUR LEADING AND TRAILING FACTORY COIL PACKS. |
what model lt8 is it the s or x , and btw factory coils work fine above 350.

best ive been able to do with factory coil packs is around 420rwhp with 10:1 afrs. you can go leaner but at th cost of engine reliability. |
well 370-400 whp is what im going for?
and 10's afrs is ideal so i might stay stock then uprage when i turn up the boost its the one tivid is selling lt8-s |

with the power output u looking for i would stay stock and save your pennies for other upgrades , im running stock leading and trailing with 3msd 6al but i was running stock with no auxilary and my car was running perfect. making 383 to wheels at 14lbs of boost. so i would just keep stock. i saw u are buying lt8s with the s u can only use stock . if you going with x model than you have to use bosch or other coils . now if you going with ltt10 you have the choice of stock or aftermarket coils.

Like the guy above said, if you have an lt8 you have no choice in the matter. MUST RUN factory coil packs.
