cant connect
im using a usb-serial converter, I installed the driver and changed the COM port to 1, tried 2 as well and the microtech application is still not connecting...any ideas?

oh and I do have the microtech adapter, and im using the dynex usb-serial from bestbuy so its not a super cheap one

Most of the time. Your problem is the usb-serial adaptor.
Try a different one. |
It finally connected after I restarted the laptop a few times, thanks guys. Now if I can just get my fuel mileage down. Somone knowledgable wanna pm me? I'm getting about 5mpg city and 12hwy on a relatively stock tII
