can anybody help me?
i am having trouble on how to wired up the TPS its gettng me confused. i have a s5 turbo

You only use one tps. THE ONE CLOSER TO THE ALTERNATOR. it is the NARROW BAND TPS the microtech does not require teh wideband tps.
Their are three wires you are looking for and the other wires can be left disconnected. TPS - MICROTECH ORANGE - BLUE Green/RED - GREY BLACK/RED - BROWN DONE |
that is not 100% true, when i had my car tuned my steve kan, he was not to happy i used just the narrow band, he had trouble getting the cruise set up well, and i still have a hiccup that he couldnt get out. if i were you, i would find a way to used the full range tps so the ecu can be tuned in matrix mode better.

That is absolute fucking garbage.
I have tuned 100s of car this way and had no problems. if steve khan cant get it right then your throttlebody has a problem. |
the only time you need the wideband tps is if your tuning in tps mode. other wise whether in normal or matrix mode and your using MAP mode the narrow band is all that is required. microtech will respond to 00 being idle and 01 being full load. SIMPLE.

Rob You could replace the TPS with a switch if you want and it would work just as well. |
oh hell yeah thanks guys, thats all i wanted to hear
|
hmm, thats wierd, casue steve kan did not like it hooked up that way, and how i have a hiccup if i get into a little boost on the highway, it goes too rich or something and starts jerking a lil.
|
The hiccup has nothing to do with the TPS. It's a tuning issue. Maybe the staging is set poorly?
|
more then likely staging. nothing to do with tps.
i hate it when tuners making up crap to cover up for their mistakes. |
