Blowing fuses...

Ok so i installed my lt8 on my fc a few months back fired it up everything works fine i let it run, warm up, drive it put it back in the garage everything works fine. One day i turn the key on. No lights on the mt...ok replace the 7.5 meter fuse that blew..everything works fine for about 20 starts then it will blow again ect... But now the fuse will blow between 5secs-5mins of the car being started. Why is this happening? and why more frequently now? one time it even blew the main power fuse for the mt by the battery. Could it be that my 12v that comes on when u turn the key on is in a bad spot. please help. Thanks Jeremy

you have a short somewhere, a wire is being grounded that shouldn't be. Look for loose wires

so the meter fuse is blowing?
or the microtech fuse? microtech fuse should be 15amp minimum.

Usually it is the meter fuse that is blowing which turns my mt off. I must have the mt 12v hooked up wrong under my dash. The other day though inbetween blowing the meter fuse 6 times the one under the hood for the mt also blew. I have a 15 amp in there.

Ok.
wiring sounds shot.

lol

Ok. You need to check to see where your power wire from the microtech(red wire) is going to. It must either go to the battery or the alternator or starter motor.

Next, THE PINK WIRE MUST GO TO a good ignition source, either ignition barrel or the thick black/white wire that goes to the coil packs(might be black/yellow on a s4).

I bet one of these wires has been wired dodgily.
