Agreed

Plus with such a large group of people getting their systems all at once it means the technical support team whether in Australia or esspecially North America gets swamped with all sorts of issues, ranging from warranty to user problems. It's just easier for the demand for the product and support for it be spread out.

guys your best bet is to get your microtech from a authorized dealer as you get tech support back and you know the unit warrantied... as far as i know there will be no substatial group buys anymore

try www.a-spectuning.com
or microtech@a-spectuning.com

I'll add in that the only dealers in the USA that attended the official Microtech training seminar are BR7 Racing in Tallahassee (me and Ray/GTRay), A-Spec Tuning (Steve/poweraxel) in Chicago, and Central Florida Turbo (Rolo Lopez/rolotec) in Orlando. I can vouch for Truespeed (Mike Goebel/Piranha and Jimmy Veillette/jimmyv13) and Poindexter (Peter Burkes/Big Woogie) as I've dealt with them and have heard good things about their work. There are more in the US who are familiar with Microtechs, but these are the guys that I know can provide good technical support along with their product sales. I also can't forget Dale, but he's over in Australia. ;)

How?

A guy I know bought a ton of them when the exchange rate was at its worst. I didn't believe him until he handed me the computer. I don't have the money right now, so I couldn'ttake it off of his hands, but when I get the money in a week, it is all mine, and he will give it to me for that price. It is most certainly brand new, som eof the stuff in sealed packages.

I love having connections. :D

Be careful, man, it sounds fishy. If he bought those when the exchange rate was low, then the best he could have gotten them for was $675 with the laptop adapter...and he's selling them for $5 more than what he paid???

How did this guy have them configured when he bought them?
